DONT YOU JUST HATE FALSE RUMOURS ?

Fenerbahce had to win their final game at home on Sunday to secure the Turkish title. They went to into injury time drawing their game when news went around the ground that their rivals for the tile, Bursaspor had conceded a late equaliser at home to Besiktas.

Cue celebrations amongst their fans, Fenerbahce had a free kick in their opponents half in the 94th minute which they just played all the way back to their keeper and there was a celebratory pitch invasion at the end......

.......... and then the news filtered through that the rumour was false, Bursaspor had won and they weren't champions at all.

Final scores ..... Bursaspor 2 - Besiktas 1
.................. Fenerbahçe 1 - Trabzonspor 1

Bursaspor win the Turkish league by 1 point .
