“Breaking News,” the first single off the first posthumous album attributed to Michael Jackson, was released this morning amid allegations made by Jackson family members that the track’s vocals were not performed by the former King of Pop.
Sony, for their part, says they have “complete confidence in the results of our extensive research, as well as the accounts of those who were in the studio with Michael, that the vocals on the new album are his own.”
