BELIEVE IT OR DONT

Both John Lennon and Paul McPaul McCartney wrote a hit song called 'Woman'.

McCartney wanted to test the theory that it was the Lennon-McCartney name that made hit songs. He wrote a song “Woman” for Peter & Gordon using the pseudonym “Bernard Webb.” The song became a hit.

"Woman" is a song written and performed by John Lennon from his 1980 album Double Fantasy. Written by Lennon, it is an ode to his wife Yoko Ono, which is introduced by Lennon whispering, "For the other half of the sky ...", a paraphrase of a Chinese proverb, once used by Mao Zedong.
