Jamie Carragher has scored more goals for Tottenham than he has for Liverpool during his career.
That is a fact. The more observant among you will note that Carragher has never actually played for Spurs, which is also correct — and also underlines just how many own goals the versatile defender has managed to accrue during the course of his career.
Nearing retirement, however, it is nice to see there could be someone ready to fill his role at Anfield. Martin Skrtel opened the scoring on Sunday against Spurs, and then proceeded to make sure he evened things up at the other end with an own goal that Carra would have been more than proud of.
It will take some time for the Slovakian to reach the same level of efficiency, but it is nice to see he's already on the right track.
