PUT SIMPLY, THESE WERE THE CHOICES
A. DEMOCRATS: We must raise taxes on the rich in order to pay for spending.
B. REPUBLICANS: We must stop spending so as to lower taxes on the rich.
They chose option C. Lower taxes and more spending !! [It's called a compromise]
