Sorry, but I'd be very surprised if this nonsense got a 2nd season. It is childish in the extreme, the script is poor, it's more cliched than a Schwarzenegger soundboard and it is obviously trying to hang on to the coattails of the also apocalyptic ' The Walking Dead '.
This is 2011, we all have a pretty good idea of what war entails these days yet the writers of this mess continue with the age old TV reality of what they think war is. People either have minor injuries or they are dead, no middle ground here I'm afraid. Everyone talks in clipped phrases of no more than six words at a time and there's the usual cast of good looking thirtysomethings who are fit and healthy, and they all have the American gung ho attitude of " we shall never lay down " ......... do the writers of some American TV shows ever look out of their windows and see what the rest of the world sees when it looks at the average American walking down a street with nothing but fast food outlets and Drive Thru Banks ?
......... and what is it with these shows where a man loses his wife and up pops a beautiful replacement straight away [Oooooo, can you feel the sexual energy ?], no mourning period, no sense of loss ....... come on writers, try a little harder.
