Many believed that this enigmatic figure was little more than an urban myth that has been inhabiting the collective subconscious in this time of change. Others consider him to be some sort of machiavellian figure patrolling the Internet fighting cyber crime and bringing nonsense to the masses .
National Inquirer sent a reporter deep into the African jungle to find the truth and expose once and for all the face behind the mask . Two hundred miles outside Kinshasa in The Democratic Republic of the Congo , our reporter came across a covert facility run by Dr Tony Mountain , the illustrious anthropologist whose research on the links between chimpanzee's and athletes foot have turned the medical profession on its head . His previous paper on the association between chimp's and bunions was hailed as a breakthrough in the field of bipedalism .
A colleague of Dr Mountain , Dr Kelly Manjaro (32) told our reporter that " Dr Mountain has [in fact] a very rare disorder which makes close proximity to simeans extremly dangerous to him ".
She went on to say that chimpanzee's " were not kept on the premises and due to the nature of Dr Mountains condition , contact with them was forbidden ".
We contacted a leading authority in the field of allergy studies at the University of Birmingham who would not confirm or deny our findings . Dr Fujiama said " Because of patient confidentiality legislation , I cannot speak to you about a particular case but I can tell you that Dr Mountain is not the kind of man you would want to mess with , dont forget he is 25% Australian " .
A statement from The National Inquirer
" We will leave it up to our discerning reader's to make up their own mind . Be assured that we will not stop in our quest for the truth , The integrity of our publication is at stake " said editor in chief Edward Hillary .
