'BP stands for bloody p***-poor'

says Helen Mirren (after telling cheering Americans she was glad England didn't beat USA)

Dame Helen Mirren blasted BP during an appearance on an American chat show, telling an audience of cheering Americans the letters stood for 'bloody p***-poor'.
In a rather unpatriotic performance, the actress - who of course once played the Queen - also said she was relieved that England managed only a draw against the USA at the World Cup.
She told David Letterman she might have cancelled her appearance had Wayne Rooney and Co. fared better in their opening match in South Africa.

Helen Mirren married American director Taylor Hackford [Harry from Harry and the Hendersons I think] who she shaves on a regular basis to make him presentable to the general public . It was her first marriage, and his third (he has two children from his previous marriage). Mirren has no children and says she has "no maternal instinct whatsoever . On 5 December 2003, she was invested as a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE). In 1996 she had declined appointment as a Commander of the order (CBE).
