Drivers in Ireland are simply not getting the message , over 35,000 road users have been fined and have received points on their licenses in the past year because they can't stop using their mobile phones while driving .
Perhaps the authorities should send them texts to remind them , say around 8:30 in the morning or 5:30 in the afternoon would do .
