AMERICAN TV IS GROWING UP

There appears to be two distinct schools of though with regards to American drama series in the last few years . On the one hand you get series like
" Lost , Heroes and Flash Forward " and on the other side you find " The Lost Room , Breaking Bad and Damages " .
The first group lean toward the endless series , 100 episodes or more of mind boggling intricacies and obscure clues that lead to a perplexing conclusion that leaves the viewer with more questions than answers .
The second type tends more toward a thirteen episode series with a beginning , a middle and an end . The story can continue with another series of thirteen episodes but each can be watched as a stand alone series.

THESE ARE TWO OF MY FAVORITES
