This is to 'Battle Royale' what 'Twilight' was to 'Bram Stoker's Dracula' ..... it's a watered down version of an existing classic, it comes from the same stable as Twilight [Lionsgate] and is targeting the same audience .......... Tweens.

Wake up America ...... Killing is not all sweetness and roses .... it's blood and guts, gone are the days when John Wayne could kill 12 Japanese soldiers with 4 bullets, when baddies clutched their stomachs and fell over dead from one shot ....... this is not 1950 anymore, and we are not in Kansas.
