In a moment reminiscent of his appearance on TV comedy Extras, Hollywood star Samuel L Jackson found himself accidentally confused with fellow actor Laurence Fishburne.
While being interviewed about his role in the new Robocop movie by KTLA’s Sam Rubin, live on US TV, Rubin naively asked Jackson about the Super Bowl advert he starred in – which, you may recall, actually featured Fishburne reprising his role as Morpheus from The Matrix.
The episode is reminiscent of a classic cringe-inducing moment from hit TV comedy Extras, when Ashley Jensen’s character complimented Jackson on his performance in The Matrix:
